THE GYM LAB
At the heart of our facilities is The Gym Lab.
This is a modern, dynamic and inclusive training space designed to support wellbeing and progression at every level.
Our gym is fully equipped with state-of-the-art kit, including HYROX-style equipment, strength and conditioning zones, and studio spaces that adapt to different needs and abilities. It’s where we run our group classes, wellbeing sessions, and community programmes.
We’ve also recently launched our Performance Lab, creating a dedicated space for young athletes and small group training.
The Performance Lab allows us to support individual development and structured sessions within a smaller, more private environment.
Whether you’re here to move, train, recover, or build confidence, The Gym Lab offers a space where everyone is welcome and supported to move in ways that work for them.

Onsite sports therapy
We’re pleased to offer onsite physiotherapy at North Somerset Sports Foundation through our partnership with Root Performance and Recovery. Felicity Hind is a highly experienced strength and conditioning coach, rehabilitation and massage therapist.
Felicity works with a wide range of individuals and organisations, including the North Somerset Regional Talent Centre and Clevedon Town Rugby Football Club. She also leads our Parkinson’s and cancer recovery classes at The Gym Lab, supporting people to move safely and rebuild strength after treatment.
This partnership allows us to complement our wellbeing offer with specialist support, while ensuring people can access high-quality rehabilitation and performance services within our wider community setting.
All bookings are subject to Felicity’s availability and pricing. All sessions are delivered under Root Performance and Recovery’s own terms and conditions.
